TWRC Wildlife Center is hosting our 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off Fundraising Event on February 26 from 3 pm to 6 pm at John Knox Presbyterian Church, which is located at 2525 Gessner Rd., Houston TX 77080. We'd love for you to participate whether you enter our Chili Cook Off, attend this fun event, and/or bid in our Silent Auction!

Do You Have an AMAZING Chili Recipe?

Do your friends and family come running when you make it? Well, enter your chili in our 2022 Chili Cook Off. Cash prizes and ribbons will be given to First, Second, and Third Place as determined by official judges as well as People's Choice as determined by attendees.

Chili Cook Off attendees will enjoy chili tasting, beer tasting, face painting, yard games, in-person viewing of online auction items, door prizes, and appearances by our Animal Ambassadors. Special appearances will be made by our two new Ambassadors, Woody (a male wood duck) and Pico (a red-tailed hawk).

Can't make it to the Chili Cook Off? You can still browse and bid in our Silent Auction. We have some great items for you to bid on, including a birding tour, passes to museums, gift baskets, custom painted pet bowls and more! Starting February 18, items will be available to Preview. The Auction will go LIVE on Tuesday, February 22 at 10 am and CLOSE on Sunday, February 27 at 6 pm.

Please contact Anna Saxton at [email protected] if you have any questions.
