Terry spent her 35 year professional career as an Environmental Scientist in the oil and gas industry. Her expertise was in assessing and managing environmental compliance, impacts and risks for offshore operations and new developments. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wyoming.
Since leaving the oil and gas industry she and her husband John Nash volunteered at state and federal refuges and historic sites in Wyoming, south Texas and New Jersey. They led historic tours, conducted water fowl counts, assisted revegetation studies and interacted with the public in visitor centers.
She is a certified Texas Master Naturalist, an advanced beginner Spanish speaker and forever-beginner birder. She is eager to work with the Board and staff to actively promote the TWCR mission with the dedicated membership and within the Houston business community.
