Susan joined the TWRC Board in February 2021. She is a retired educator with seventeen years experience in the classroom in public and private education. She currently works as an educational coach to students in middle and upper school. Before becoming an educator, Susan enjoyed a career in business with commercial property management, sales management, marketing, and investment banking.

Susan has been actively involved in community and non-profit work for many years. She taught adult and childrens groups through St. Martins Episcopal Church. She was a volunteer of the Board of Directors, the Advisory Board of Directors, and President of the Auxiliary, of The Womens Home of Houston. She also served on the Board of Directors of Memorial Club Townhouses Association. Currently, Susan volunteers with SEARCH Homeless Services and is a volunteer of the Leadership Team for House of Tiny Treasures - the preschool serving SEARCH families; and also volunteers with The Houston20 - a group dedicated to fighting human trafficking at the local, state, and national level.

Susan is excited to be a part of the Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition. She embraces our dedication to wildlife and habitat preservation, rehabilitation of our local injured wildlife, providing education opportunities to our community, and promoting TWRCs mission to the public.
