In 1996 after raising a family and working in the private sector in small business management, Roslyn retired and started volunteering with TWRC.
She quickly acquired a state and federal rehabilitation permit and supported the Center as a full-time wildlife rehabilitator specializing in birds. She served on TWRC’s Board of Directors as Volunteer Coordinator and Treasurer for two terms and was the creator and innovator behind the Baby Bird Program that was initiated in 2001. In 2006, Roslyn was hired to fulfill the role of Operations Director. She went on to develop other programs that involved the participation of the public in wildlife rehabilitation onsite.
Roslyn retired as TWRC’s Executive Director in 2018. She continues to support the center and serves as a wildlife rehabilitator and mentor.
