Maggie M. Kunckler comes to TWRC with an extensive background in the non-profit sector. Having moved extensively, she has experience working with a broad range of agencies in various states and countries.

Before moving back to the great state of Texas several years ago, she lived in Mexico where she ran a library and worked for the local Eco-center which was an organization focused on educational workshops, projects to protect the environment, with a strong focus on reef degradation and habitat preservation.  There she predominantly participated in research centered around the endangered marine turtle population.

She is a small business owner and assists TWRC by writing grants.  In her free time she loves to travel, do history research, paint, and enjoy the beautiful Texas outdoors.
